OUR STORY OF FAITH IN MAHÛTÎ

From Mahûtî Coffee Farm to Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish

Our Lady Queen of Peace Mahûtî Catholic Parish is a growing faith community in Githingiri, Thika. Together we are building a Mother Church that will serve families, youth and children for generations.

Stewardship &  Impact

Our 2-year Mother Church campaign aims to raise over KES 70M through family pledges, groups, youth, children, diaspora and corporate partners. These projections show how each stream helps us turn faith into concrete progress.

Support the Mother Church Project

We are expanding Our Lady Queen of Peace Mahûtî Catholic Parish from a seating capacity of about 420 to at least 1000 faithful. The masterplan includes a creche, sacristy, adoration chapel, sound room, altar, confession rooms, bell tower, and improvements to the main gate, washrooms, outdoor green area, and grotto. Your prayer, time, and giving help us build a worthy house of God where hearts are lifted and Christ is encountered.

Building a Divine Legacy

Our journey began at a humble mabati church on the Mahûtî Coffee Farm, and today we are a growing parish community in Githingiri moving toward a permanent Mother Church. This new sanctuary will be a lasting legacy of faith, designed to serve our families, youth, and future generations for years to come.
